The
Taste of a Generation Computer Animation & Video Date: 1991 This piece examines the possibility of connections between the Holocaust and mass industrialization. Using Adolf Hitler's relationship to Henry Ford as its main link, the animation also draws on autobiographical experience working in a milk factory as well as imagery taken from Nazi propaganda films and advertisements. By making extensive use of the computers ability to "morph" objects and images, this animation attempts to point out a link between the means of production as developed by Henry Ford and the means of destruction implemented by the Nazis in the Second World War. |
